About Our Church
St. Didymus Church for the Blind is a unique and inclusive spiritual community dedicated to serving individuals who are blind or have low vision. Equally, we serve seniors who seek a spiritual home where they are not rushed, overlooked, or marginalized. Our church offers an atmosphere of patience, respect, and thoughtful accommodation.
As a newly established church, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone can experience spiritual growth, fellowship, and service.
Our church does not affiliate with any specific denomination; instead, we focus on fostering a community rooted in faith, empowerment, and mutual support. We believe that spiritual leadership and service come in many forms, and we celebrate the contributions of blind ministers, musicians, seniors, and community members who help lead by example.
Currently, our worship services are held on the fourth Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM. As we continue to grow, we are working to develop more regular community activities and outreach initiatives for both visually impaired members and seniors.
Our Core Mission
To empower and uplift the blind and low vision community through faith, fellowship, and service. We celebrate the unique gifts of each member, including those who serve as ministers, musicians, and leaders—many of whom are blind themselves—demonstrating that spiritual leadership knows no visual limitation. Our mission also includes honoring and supporting seniors, ensuring they have a consistent spiritual home where accessibility, patience, and community understanding are prioritized.
Our Core Values and Beliefs

Empowerment: We promote independence, confidence, and leadership among our members.
Faith and Service: Our faith guides us to serve others and foster a supportive environment.
